Privacy policy
We welcome your interest in Gut Nehmten. Data protection is of particular importance to the management of Gutsverwaltung Nehmten. Use of our website is generally possible without providing any personal data. However, if a data subject wishes to use special services of our company via our website, processing of personal data may become necessary.

Data collected
- When the website is accessed, server logs are collected (IP address, date, time, requested URL, browser user agent). This data is used exclusively for the secure operation of the website and is deleted after 30 days.
- On a booking enquiry, the data entered in the form is collected (name, postal address, email, telephone, travel dates, number of persons, optional: dog, message). This data is used exclusively to process your enquiry and, where applicable, to fulfil the rental contract.
- Audience measurement is carried out via a self-hosted Matomo instance with anonymised IP addresses. No personal profiles are created; no transfer to third parties takes place.
Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies (e.g. to store your language preference and to protect against cross-site request forgery). No marketing cookies or tracking pixels are used.
Legal bases
The processing of personal data is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract performance) for booking enquiries, and on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for secure website operation and anonymised audience measurement.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, port and object to your data. Complaints can be addressed to the supervisory authority responsible for Schleswig-Holstein: Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).
Storage period
Booking-related data is stored for the statutory retention period (usually 10 years). Enquiries without a contract are deleted after 12 months. Anonymous logs after 30 days, Matomo data after 12 months.
Data processors
For sending the confirmation and invoice emails we use an SMTP provider with a data-processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located exclusively in Germany.
